My Story
I received my first Scentsy warmer as a Christmas gift in 2008. I fell in love. I started telling my friends, co-workers and neighbors about it, and they all wanted one too! So I hosted a party. We all had so much fun smelling the scents and looking at all the warmers. I had always thought I might want to try sales, but it would have to be the right fit. And here it was. To me, this was a no brainer. An affordable luxery, anyone at any age would enjoy. I also liked the fact that it was a consumable product that my customers would return to me to purchase. So I made that little $99 investment. I thought, it will just be fun shopping money each month. My first paycheck was $600 and I bought myself a treadmill. My second check was big enough to buy new tires for my SUV. I thought WOW! This is more than just shopping money, how AWESOME that I am being able to purchase these things and not have to put them on a credit card! So I decided to go for it. I had a 3 yr old and a 6 yr old at the time. I also worked full time as a dental hygienist. Now, just 6 short years later I am a full time work at home Mom with an income that outweighs what I made as a licensed health professional. I have earned several all expense paid trips, including Hawaii, Dominican Republic, and Alaska. But the best part of my business is helping my team and watching them grow. Not to mention the lifelong friends I have made with other consultants. This business has taught me much more about life than anything else. My true reward is helping others and celebrating with them as they reach their goals. I am watching Scentsy and my team grow internationally, and in awe of what this amazing company has done in only 10 years.
